Neuruppin Foam Fire Extinguishers

Foam extinguishers are more commonly found in commercial areas, especially in the office areas, banking, educational institutions, medical institutions and in industry. The disadvantage of obstruction (Powder extinguisher) does not apply foam extinguishers. These are known to reduce the cost of the clean-up compared to powder extinguishers. As with the agent being a wet chemical, there are several options to choose from, cartridge or stored pressure with or without freeze protection.

Cartridge operated freeze protection foam extinguishers are more commonly used within industries whereby low temperatures exist and the risk of re-ignition of a fire can occur. Both the agent and propellant are stored separately

Cartridge operated non-freeze protection foam extinguishers are more commonly used whereby the risk of re-ignition of a fire can occur. Both the agent and propellant are stored separately.

Stored pressured freeze protection foam extinguishers are more commonly used within industries whereby low temperatures exist, however the agent and propellant are stored together

Stored pressured non-freeze protection foam extinguishers are more commonly used whereby the risk of re-ignition of a fire can occur, however the agent and propellant are stored together

When developing our foam extinguishers environmental friendliness is an important factor. The majority of our foam extinguishers carry the Milieukeur certificate. This certificate certifies a significantly reduced fluorine content (currently a maximum of 0.04%)
